John Smittle, former art teacher, works from his studio at Smittle House Bed & Breakfast in Columbus, KS to create these one-of-a-kind pieces. John's major focus is raku firing but with connections to Horses of Hope Therapeutic Riding Center, he has added horse hair pottery to the offerings available.

Pottery workshop "getaways" are also available by reservation through Smittle House.
