Smittle House Bed & Breakfast and Fine Dining has been in operation since 2006. The lovely 1907 Victorian home offers old world charm with the convenience of the 21st century. Innkeepers Lucas and Jordan Epler have been running the business since 2018.

At the Smittle House we have two room options. The Jones Room which features modern comforts and the McAuley Room which features the original 1907 bathroom features.

Our Services

Fine Dining

Smittle House offers a six-course private dining experience that is sure to impress. If you would like to book a fine dining experience please call us at 620-429-2420. Reservations can be made up to a year in advance and must be scheduled 48 hours before. We only book one dinner a night, so availability is limited. To view our menu options click here.

Venue

Do you need a place to host your next event? You can book us as a venue for baby showers, tea parties, wine tastings, small private weddings, and more.

Catering

Farmers Market

We sell homemade ice cream, take and bake meals, alternative flour, and milk at the local farmers market.

My husband and I had not planned on staying anywhere other than some cheap motel on our way from Iowa to Texas, but fate placed us here in Columbus at around the time we needed to sleep. What a welcoming place this was. Your home is absolutely beautiful, and the pride you have in it is obvious. The next time we find ourselves taking a road trip up to Iowa, we will definitely be making a stop here as part of our journey. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
